Personal Background
Diane Farr is a lifelong resident of Columbia. In 2008, Farr joined the Coldwell Banker Team as a sales agent and is proud to bring her skills and talents to the real estate market. After a successful independent cell phone sales career, Farr has entered the real estate field to bring her superb communication skills and knowledge to benefit her many friends and business acquaintances.
Farr began her work career in high school as a part-time employee of the SC Department of Labor. Upon graduating from USC, she worked for the Farm Credit Bank in Columbia, where she was the Administrative Assistant to the President. When the Farm Credit Bank was reorganized, Farr began working for the Office of the Governor of South Carolina, and then onto the Office of the Clerk of the United States District Court. In the 1990s, she entered the private sector selling cell phones as an independent agent in the Columbia area.
Farr attended Crayton Elementary School, Crayton Junior High and AC Flora High School. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina School of Business. Farr is a people person. She has always enjoyed an extensive and permanent base of civic, business and social friendships. Farr was a member of Kappa Delta sorority in college and is currently a member Junior League of Columbia and the Coral Bell Garden Club. She is a lifelong member of the Washington Street United Methodist Church.
